Dans notre atelier, entouré de l’odeur terreuse du bois vieilli, nous avons découverons par fois des veritable secrets fascinant au sein des coeurs des vieilles poutres de bois. Alors que nous façonnons avec diligence ces pièces usées pour la reconstruction et la rénovation des maisons historiques, un témoin particulier de l’histoire se révèle – des balles de guerre datant d’une époque révolue.

Au sein des arbres anciens, certains témoins de batailles historiques, les cicatrices de la guerre se manifestent au sein des fibres du bois, prenant la forme de balles incrustées. Ces vestiges encapsulent des récits d’époques révolues, et à mesure que ces arbres grandissent, ils enferment les balles dans leurs troncs, tissant des récits historiques dans la trame même du bois.

En dévoilant ces trésors cachés, l’exposition du tanin au plomb déclenche une réaction chimique. Cette réaction transforme progressivement le bois autour des balles incrustées en une teinte distinctive de bleu. Le résultat est une déclaration captivante de l’histoire, gravée dans les anneaux du bois.

As we diligently craft these weathered pieces into unique pieces to reconstruct historical timber frame houses, a peculiar witness to history reveals itself – bullets from wars long past.

Within the ancient trees, some of which bore witness to historical battles, the scars of war manifest within the wooden fibers, taking the form of embedded bullets. These remnants encapsulate tales of bygone eras, and as these trees grow, they encase the bullets within their trunks, weaving historical narratives into the very fabric of the wood.

As we uncover these hidden treasures, exposure to lead bullets triggers a chemical reaction. This reaction gradually transforms the wood around the embedded bullets into a distinctive shade of blue. The result is a captivating declaration of history, etched into the rings of the wood.
